The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step…a step of courage.

Partner, The WAY to Healthy Living

Sherri L. Crowl, NCC, LPC

Sherri L. Crowl, NCC, LPC has experienced various struggles and tribulations in her life. She has experienced early loss in her childhood, physical abuse, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, drugs, alcohol and co-dependency.  Though lessons were learned from these various trials some of the largest lessons were learned while living 30 years with Anorexia Nervosa, obsessive exercising and self mutilation. Due to the complications of Anorexia Sherri was told, at the age of 38, that she had a month to live and to get her affairs in order.  This was not an option.  Sherri surrounded herself with the proper professional help, entered treatment and fought back.

Sherri returned to school and received her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and offers various services including individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling and substance abuse/addictive behavior counseling.  Sherri specializes in Eating Disorders and Self-Mutilation and also has extensive experience in Depression, Anxiety, Marital Counseling, Family Therapy, Child Trauma, Abuse, Addictions and Addictive Behaviors.

Sherri has a willingness to help individuals, couples, and families reach their highest potential.  She made a decision early on that rather than be a victim of her situations, she would be be a victor of all situations.  She encourages others to do the same.

She has partnered with Selina Uglow and Elizabeth Darling to offer individuals resources and counseling in simple but functional ways to ease the journey along The WAY to Healthy Living.

She is on staff at Mercy House of Meadville, Inc. Restoring Hearts and Homes and her services may be covered by your insurance provider.  She can be reached by phone at 814.337.6180 or via email at
